About Mark Van Dongen

My name is Mark Van Dongen. Thank you for the opportunity to meet with you and to start viewing homes together. I am a Laurier graduate (BBA - 1983) and have lived in Kitchener-Waterloo for over 35 years.
My background is primarily New Homes. Since 1990, I have worked on site, worked in the administration, marketing & sales of my family custom home building company – MILLA Homes. I built 35 homes on my own under the name DIMARK Construction. And worked for a large Toronto Builder–Tribute Communities. I served as the President of both the Guelph & District Home Builders’ Association in 1995 and the Waterloo Region Home Builders’ Association in 2000. For over 20 years, I have served as a volunteer on many committees with the Associations and Liaison Committees with the Region of Waterloo, City of Kitchener, City of Waterloo, and with the Chief Building Officials. In 2013 became a registered real estate sales representative so that I am now able to sell everything else! I specialize in the buying and selling of new homes, resale homes, investment properties, land and the leasing of all kinds.
It would be my pleasure to be able to help you in any way that I can. I enjoy the variety of working with different buyers who have vastly different interests, budgets, priorities and motivations. I can offer you honesty, an ethical approach, attention to detail, great negotiating skills and the benefits of the RE/MAX Brand.
